The Threshold Book is a book of about 100 pages written for you alone, for a time when your life is changing. It’s built from your answers to the hour-long Threshold Test, your birth chart and the questions you bring, and it arrives within seven days for one contribution of $97.
Who it’s for
A breakup, a loss, a new career, a move, a calling you can’t ignore. If you’re between chapters and want more than a quiz result, this is for you. It suits people who would rather have something to read slowly and return to than another conversation to remember.
It goes a lot further than the free Ecotone Assessment. The Assessment tells you where you are. The book answers the next two questions: Why did I end up here? And what, specifically, do I do about it?
What’s inside
Your map, read closely
Where you are on the soul’s journey, your gifts, your archetypes and the protectors working hardest for you, each with a question to sit with.
Your chart and its chapters
Your birth chart in plain words, and the planetary chapters of your life so far, by age.
Your own questions
The questions you most want answered, read one by one.
The months ahead
The coming year as windows to watch for, never promises.
Practices that fit your life
Experiments sized to the time and energy you actually have.
Places that matter
When you know your birth time, a chapter on the places in your life and how they meet your chart.

The soul’s journey in your map follows Bill Plotkin’s The Journey of Soul Initiation. The parts work is IFS-informed, building on Richard Schwartz’s Internal Family Systems.
How it works
- 01
Take the test, at your own pace
234 questions that get underneath where you are now: how you got here, what’s holding you here, and what’s shaping the way forward. It unfolds in 11 chapters, takes about an hour, and saves as you go. You answer by feel, not by number.
- 02
See your map the moment you finish
Your personal map opens right away, on a private page. It shows where you are on the soul’s journey, along with your gifts, your archetypes and the protectors working hardest for you, each with a question to sit with and a small practice to try.
- 03
Shape your book
Once you’ve seen your map, I’ll ask a few more things in your own words: the questions you most want answered, up to three areas of life to look at closely, and a few dates that mattered. It takes about 15 minutes and saves as you go. People ask better questions once they’ve seen their map.
- 04
Your book, within seven days
About 100 pages, written for you alone. It walks through your map, reads your birth chart and its life chapters, answers your questions one by one, and looks at the months ahead as windows, never promises. Then it offers practices sized to the time you actually have. Maybe that means joining the Council. Maybe you already have everything you need. Maybe you’re ready to change your name and move to the Yukon. It’s meant to be something you come back to as things shift.
Crossing with care
The Threshold Test rests on trauma-informed principles from Internal Family Systems, so it never pushes you somewhere you aren’t ready to go.
- No bad parts
Your map describes parts of you and the good reasons behind them, never verdicts or diagnoses.
- You set the pace
You can go gently, pause and come back. Depth is always an invitation, never a requirement.
- Safety is built in
The test includes a couple of care questions. If you need support, you’ll see resources right away, and your answers are flagged for my attention.
- Tender places are held gently
Your map and your book point to what’s worth exploring. They never ask you to open something you’d have to close alone, and anything you’d like left alone stays out of your book.
- Take what lands
Everything here is an offering. If something doesn’t fit, let it go.

What is the Threshold Book?
A personal book of about 100 pages, written for one reader during a time of change. It is built from your answers to the Threshold Test, your birth chart and the questions you bring, and it arrives within seven days.
How much does it cost?
One contribution of $97, with no subscription. It includes the Threshold Test, your personal map, your book, three programs and 60 days in the Threshold space on the Ecosystem.
How long does it take?
The Threshold Test takes about an hour and saves as you go. Shaping your book takes about 15 more minutes. Your book arrives within seven days of shaping it.
Do I need to know my birth time?
No. Leave it blank if you don’t know it, or give your best guess and say how sure you are. A few key dates from your life help estimate it. An exact birth time adds the chapter on places.
Is it a reading or a session with Telfer?
It is a book, not a live session. Everything is written for you to read at your own pace and come back to as things shift.
Is the Threshold Book therapy?
No. It is spiritual guidance and self-inquiry, built on trauma-informed principles from Internal Family Systems. It can sit beside therapy or coaching and does not replace them. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in Canada and the US, or your local emergency number.
How is it different from the free Ecotone Assessment?
The free Assessment tells you which landscape you are crossing. The Threshold Book answers the next two questions: why you ended up here, and what, specifically, to do about it. If you took the Assessment with the same email, your book draws on it too.
What happens after 60 days?
Nothing is charged and nothing is lost. Your map and your book stay yours, and you stay in the free Ecosystem. If the programs have become part of your rhythm, you can keep them in the Threshold Library for $22 a month and cancel anytime.
